Avatar Book 3 Fire Volume 4 September 7, 2008 I have the entire Series and love them all for both me and my children. I have only one complaint about Book 3 Fire and that is it only comes in English. Books 1 and 2 were available in multiple languages. My children have just arrived to this country, speaking only Spanish and I have to hold Book 3 until they understand English. Books 1 and 2 were brought to foreign soil and they enjoyed Avatar immensely.
Great story September 6, 2008 Two guy friends of mine told me they watched this with their kids and it was great. My teenaged son and I started watching and it is one of the best stories I've seen in a long time. We've watched all the episodes, and will watch them again. I highly recommend this to any age, young or old.

This was overall a great series. The ending is a little weak - like the writers ran out of ideas. There are still a lot of unanswered questions so that leads me to think there maybe more to come. Without giving any of this ending away, I pose the question of whether the air nation finds rebirth in the mist of end of the tyranny? The one thing that makes this weak is the switching back and forth between being on the quest and shucking off time like the end of the world is not near. But much of the action will wash all the knit picking thoughts away and you will enjoy it.
Avatar The last Airbender September 4, 2008 This DVD arrived on time and was great to watch. Although I wish they could of showd what happened to Zuko and if he found his mother. Also what happened to Azula I mean does she go to prison or does she just leave or loose her firbending abilities? But otherwise it was a great DVD to watch.
So this series has come to an end... September 1, 2008 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
Many things were off the hook, especially Aang's battle with Ozai. That was filled with so much pwnage.
There were several things in this DVD that were one-star for me. Mind you, this is a commentary only on the episodes this DVD, not the rest of the series.
- The ending with the kisses. Ruined it for me, really. There should have been no kissing, it just added kitschiness to the whole ending.
- Plot inconsistencies within the last few episodes (Ember Island Players, Southern Raiders) It feels to me that the writers simply weren't paying attention and didn't care to tighten up the plot.
- Many questions left unanswered. The fate of Ursa? Long Feng? The Earth King? The White Lotus? Chit Sang? Teo? Again, it feels like the writers got sloppy. Tsk tsk...
Other than that, the eps were decent. Good animation, and plot holes aside, there were humorous/memorable moments. So overall, when you add the good stuff and bad stuff, this gets 3/5 stars. I really wish the writers had been more attentive and careful though.
