Literally Threw it Away April 29, 2008 8 out of 12 found this review helpful
Granted Ashlee Simpson's vocal talents are limited at best, this CD was by far a complete and total waste of my money in buying it and my time in listening to it. Her other CDs, over-processed though they may have been, at least were catchy and listenable, but this time around she makes only a 1% effort to actually sing and the music is something of a 12-year-old playing with a Playskool keyboard. If I could go back in time to stop myself from buying it, I would. From a vocalist's perspective, this is beyond mediocre. How she's famous is nothing short of a miracle (for her; not so much for me or anyone who appreciates real music)
To put it simply: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!
WOW!!!! April 28, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I love Ashlee Simpson's previous two albums but her newer album blows the other two out of the water. Amazing!!! It is definitely different then the other two in that it is more of a dance album. I was pleasantly surprised!!!
Addicting... April 28, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is my first album by Ashlee Simpson and I have to say that I LOVE it. I can't say that there is one song that I dislike on this album, they are all great. The songs remind me alot of Gwen Stefani, but maybe even alittle better :)

This album is definitely an improvement. Her voice sounds really good and think this type of music really works for her vocal range....lol
but yeah, the cd is extremely fun, the lyrics are well written, and overall I am obsessed with the album. My biggest complaint is the lack of tracks. I mean come on, 11 tracks? It pisses me off there are like 4-5 extra tracks floating around that they didn't put on the album!
regardless, a very good album. Its especially worth it considering its only 10 bucks! if you've liked ashlee's old stuff, you'll love this for sure!!
Surprisingly entertaining April 27, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am probably one of the only few people who is actually a fan of Ashlee Simpson. I appreciate that fact that she doesn't try to make her voice seem better than it is. With each of her CD's she sticks to songs that are able to showcase her vocal talents in the best way possible. Her third CD shows her vocal talents in the best light. The upbeat, 80's-style music is the best style for her. The CD has catchy songs, amazing beats( thanks to Timbaland and Chad Hugo) and it seems to me like a hit. With Bittersweet World, Ashlee Simpson has finally found a style that fits her the best.
